Having an idea about your goals will give your teacher a better understanding of how they can help you and your learning style. If your aim is simply to improve your conversation, write a list of things you enjoy talking about your interests helps you to remember things better and it’s a fun way to learn.
- Speak as Much as possible
Take advantage of the fact that you are with a native speaker ask lots of questions and don’t be afraid of making mistakes.
- Relax and enjoy the experience
It’s natural to feel nervous during a one to one lesson without the ‘safety’ of being in a group. Remember that your teacher is here to help you. Making mistakes is an important part of learning. Your teacher wants you to improve and have a good time in the process.
